Introduction

This Freshly meal looks fairly basic with just a chicken breast and broccoli. Given that it’s part of the FreshlyFit lineup, it makes sense. Is it worth a try though? Let’s find out!

Summary: Freshly's Protein-Packed Chicken Parm

Overall, Freshly’s Protein-Packed Chicken Parm is a solid meal! Although the broccoli tastes a bit odd, the chicken more than makes up for it. Supported by marinara sauce, it gives the chicken some juiciness and amazing flavor. This meal is definitely worth a look.

Impressions & Taste

Looks wise, it’s not as appetizing as it looks on the pictures. The mozzarella looks like it slid off the chicken and is now chilling on the side. However, the marinara fragrance is very distinct and inviting.

Let’s dig in. Starting with the broccoli, it is a bit soggy but still has a mild crunch to it. The flavor is odd with hints of bitterness throughout. As for the garlic, it’s hardly noticeable unless the bitterness is from the garlic itself.

The chicken is very similar to one we saw in the Homestyle Chicken meal. It has similar breading but is actually tastier. The marinara sauce provides a much needed juiciness and incredible amounts of flavor. The mozzarella was almost nonexistent though.
